How to Get Your Mantel on Fleek

Okay, so there are thousands of tutorials out there on how to get your eyebrows on fleek. But what about how to get your mantels on fleek? And in case you're wondering what on fleek means, it essentially means on point. I don't even know where it came from but I kinda like it

So yeah, mantels are very much like eyebrows, it needs to be shaped and styled to perfection. Just imagine the fireplace as the eye. Ha! Styling a mantel can be really easy or really tricky. It's easy if you can find a really large artwork or a huge mirror the size of your mantel and simply lean it on there and call it a day. But finding that large piece of artwork is the tricky part, so I prefer to group a few artworks together instead.

Here are the three things you'll need to get your mantel on fleek — art, objects and plants. Here, I'm working with St. Frank artworks again. Check out how I also styled them in my guest bedroom and workspace

ART • Rest the two larger pieces on the mantel side by side and center them. Then, put the smaller artwork in front of both larger pieces to overlap them. This shows the different heights nicely.

OBJECTS • I picked four objects, two vases, a brass urchin and a set of candleholders. I know many stylists love grouping three objects together but I think pairs work perfectly, too. I placed both on opposite ends.

PLANTS • Use plants to soften the hard lines. I plucked a couple of monstera leaves from our garden.
