Holiday Inspiration with Hallmark at Walgreens

Even before I was old enough to be responsible for purchasing my own gifts for the family, I have a very clear memory of watching my aunt beautifully and meticulously wrap each package with the utmost attention to detail. My fascination with gift wrap only continued when I took a gig at an LA paper shop after college and it’s something I still pride myself on today. That’s why when I was asked to participate in the #HallmarkAtWalgreens campaign, I knew it would be a match made in holiday heaven.
I’ve always known that Walgreens was a super convenient spot to pick up cute Hallmark holiday greeting cards and wrapping paper, but now the two have also teamed up to offer gift-ready goodies with their Inspirations from Hallmark line of gifts and gift wrap, available only at Walgreens and found in the store’s seasonal aisle. Decorative home décor pieces like the snow blocks, red lantern, and bronzed reindeer figurine, which all looks elegant sitting on a mantle, shelf, or tabletop, are great options to get your home all festive for the holidays.
It makes holiday gift shopping at Walgreens a one-stop-shop, which is amazing for those of us who are frantic with errands at this time of year. It couldn’t have been easier to scoop up all the cards I need from the Hallmark Signature line, which is a premium line of greeting cards, providing #NoOrdinaryCard for everyone on your list this season. The 3-D nutcracker one is so good! I especially love all the gold foil and letterpress designs. The paper stock is solid, too.
Inspirations from Hallmark also have great gift wrap options that are elegant and exclusive to Walgreens. Since one of my wrapping tips is mixing up patterns, I picked a few options: prints with gold snowflake pattern and this holly motif along with some more simple ones, like gold metallic polka dots. When giving someone on your list two or more pressies, I recommend stacking them, using a combo of both kinds of wrap and tying them together into a little tower.
I also love the fact that the Inspirations from Hallmark line includes a selection of wrapping paper at Walgreens with a few different flora patterns, especially because another one of my favorite thing to do is to finish off a gift with a sprig of something green, like evergreen or eucalyptus. The effect is totally seasonal without being cheesy — and whoever gets your gift will appreciate the little details. The fact that I can get practically everything I need to give the perfect, and perfectly wrapped present at Walgreens takes so much stress out of holiday shopping, and I think even my aunt would be proud of how stunning a presentation you can make with what you find here.
