OUNCE, DICE, THRICE

Thanks to my awesome friend Cindy for gifting me this wonderful, wordy children's book that's suitable for both you and me. Ounce, Dice, Thrice is written by Alastair Reid and drawings by Ben Shahn. By the time you're done flipping through this book, forward and backwards, you'll probably have awesome names for your pets and even fingers—LITTLE QUEE QUEE QUEE for your pinky. You'll learn that sounds, like HARROWOLLOWORRAH is yawning and PALLOP is sitting suddenly on a cushion. And you'll know that a "GONGGOOZLER is an idle person who is always stopping in the street and staring at a curious object like a tingle–airey." Anyone who appreciates silly word plays and beautiful drawings is gonna enjoy this book.
