HI / ALOHA ADVENTURES

Kalama Beach
Good thinking, dog! It was really hot that day.

Mount Tantalus
Lush windy roads. Spectacular views of Honolulu and Diamonhead. There was a cool swing tied to a tree and a mini treehouse in the area we were at so the place is like a playground. This is also where I got eaten up by mosquitos, like all you can eat crab legs at a Vegas buffet! Don't forget to bring bug repellent!

Kaneohe
We rented a five bedroom house in Kaneohe which is a quiet residential area about 30 minutes from Waikiki. We had an amazing view of the bay. Hawaii was so relaxing and inspiring that I even attempted to do yoga on the roof! Namaste.

Pali Lookout
Absolutely to die for views of the Windward coast of Oahu.  Here's a crazy fact — in 1785, hundreds of soldiers were driven off the cliff during a historical battle to unite the Hawaiian islands. They say that on some nights, you can hear the screams of the warriors falling to their death. Spooky! And it's super windy up there.

Haleiwa Beach | North Shore
This is where I paddle boarded for my life. Oh, right, did I mention that I'm deathly afraid of the ocean or deep water? I think people who can swim or tread water are like superheroes. This means almost everyone in this world is one! So, imagine how terrified I was when I signed up with my friends to stand up paddle. They ran out of life jackets but the coach assured me that I won't tip over and sink into the abyss. He kept chanting to me, "Bro, you can do it. Be as one with the ocean. You got it, man." Words I now live by everyday. Ha! Even though my legs were rattling almost the entire time, it was one of the most thrilling experiences in my life. We paddled through a lush river with sea turtles swimming under us. It was sooo awesome! I might have cried just a little. I would indubitably do it again!
